Herky Cutler

Having done the rock and roll band "thing," I now choose to travel alone, playing both relatively small and intimate venues, and larger festivals.

My music has many faces....rock...blues...country...folk...celtic...latin...
and speaks with many tongues about who I am, what I believe in, and what makes me laugh.

I've been influenced by many including Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bruce Cockburn, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, and MANY of the independent artists that I have heard over the years. They inspire me and keep the songwriting candle burning.

What sets me apart from others is my stage presence and my ability to engage the audience. To me, it's all about the audience. If they're not having a good time, what's the point? Otherwise, I might as well just be home playing in my studio. They provide me with energy and a reason to perform. When I'm playing a gig, my purpose is to touch the audience in some way, to inspire them, to make them laugh, and to make them feel like they've had a great time!
