We have made it to the the weekend!!!!

Welcome to our first edition of a 2 part Headliners series of the 2022 Tongue on the Post Folk Music Festival!!

We have an exciting lineup for you tonight!!!

Returning after much praise from his last visit, Ontario artist DRFTR is back and will absolutely blow your mind with the unbelievable voice and guitar skills that come out of this young man!

Following the amazing sounds of DRFTR, Sleepy Jean makes her Medicine Hat debut as she makes the long trek from Ontario as well.

Born from the bones of forgotten nostalgia, Sleepy Jean spent the better part of a decade frequenting tourist traps and hole-in-the-walls alike whilst sneakily sliding her self-penned songs amongst those of her contemporaries and reveries. Her wistful, smoky voice is equal parts Joni Mitchell and Etta James, and is known for that inimitable quality that evokes salty streams of tears and bloody bar fights alike. Her first recorded offering, Idle Hands, made its way into the world midsummer 2021.

Closing out the evening are everyone's favorite friends.....The Travelling Mabels!!

The Travelling Mabels have been hard at work putting together a new album throughout the pandemic and learning to adapt along the way.

On the heals of a world of accolades and awards, The Mabels are sure to take on on a journey through Alberta and beyond , as everyone's favorite family band shares some and stories from their upcoming album as well as past fan favorites.

so sit back, make yourself cozy.... as these 3 headlining acts are guaranteed to give an escape from everyday reality while they share the beautiful sounds of love music with us in the best way possible, given the circumstances!
