Tuesday brings back a special treat from years ago..... Flint & Feather returns to the kiln only this time with a live audience. This amazing duo performed for TOPFEST in the silent years when we weren't able to meet in person but now they are back to welcome everyone and share these amazing stories and songs
Albertan folk/roots duo Flint & Feather are passionate about cultivating community through writing and performing original music, telling stories, and sharing laughter with others. Drawing upon Western Canadian history, Rocky Mountain folklore, and their own colourful life journeys for inspiration, husband-and-wife team Joal and Lauren Kamps create ‘Rocky Mountain Folk-Pop’ songs that tell stories with uncommon charm.
Through their intimate combination of delicately woven harmonies and vivid lyrical imagery, Flint & Feather often evoke comparisons to Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, The Milk Carton Kids, John Denver, and The Civil Wars. This classic singer-songwriter sound is where the Kamps seem to feel most at home – allowing their honest and engaging performances to genuinely connect with audiences of all-ages and backgrounds.
All Kiln shows are $25 each. Show starts at 7pm with doors opening at 6:30pm
